About Me

I aspire to create experiences that have a functional and positive impact by immersing myself in the context of the problems I set out to solve.

Creative work and design is my passion… and the power of design created through empathy, and its limitless potential to build emotional connection never ceases to surprise and inspire me. It is essential, and needed to spot opportunities to improve things. Ultimately, I hope to inspire users to respond in a positive way, and to be able to provide honest, strategic solutions that encourage natural engagement. In design, I've learned that a healthy mix of listening, collaboration, humility, playfulness, and asking the right questions is incredibly important, and it fuels my unwavering drive to excel.

As my interest in conveying concepts visually grows, I'm delighted to combine my experience and creative talents to grow in the UX field. Finding solutions, bringing concepts with attention to detail via beautiful designs that allow humans to interact with technology more naturally - that's where you'll find me.

Outside of my current role as a Product Designer for PRIZEPICKS, I’m an avid adventurer energized by music and the ocean, and always on the lookout for new creative avenues.

“Over the past year, I worked with Vanina to help brainstorm about different case studies she created across mobile, web, and an industry client design project. Vanina showed design excellence in every category, and I was impressed with her customer focus and ability to invent and simplify.
Her deep focus on the customer was consistently core to all her work. She drove toward product outcomes by addressing the needs of unique customers, clients, and their personal stories. The research inspired new and innovative solutions that only come from a customer lens. The branding in the final deliverables was also profoundly thought through, which showcased impactful visual strategies tuned to each audience's sensibilities.
Vanina intuitively knew when to iterate and look at the project from a new perspective, then set out a plan to simplify her vision. Even senior UX designers can get stuck on an established design later in the process. I’m excited for Vanina and the work she’ll deliver in her future career opportunities in this field.”
